SS13 RTW- MARCHESA

Marchesa's SS13 RTW line brought out the glamour quotient in full swing. Taking Inspiration from India and its love for all things ornate, the collection had its fair share of bling with embellishments and embroidery. Eloquent drapes in luxurious fabrics inspired by the Saris, midriff showing dresses inspired by the lehnga. The colors were also inspired with sufficient use of gold and jewel tones. Chandelier earrings, pearl and stone chokers,brocade borders......Simply beautiful!

It is really exciting to finally see Indian inspirations in such close forms on the international podium. Cheers!!!
